Abel Paul George (23) is a Malayali American Creative Architect.

EARLY EDUCATION

Though his parents were both blue-collar workers, Abel’s mother spent time introducing and teaching him works from various classics in literature, and his father introduced him to the the arts, engineering, craftsmanship, and the internet.


In October of 2005, Abel’s father bought him his first laptop.


Abel began his informal studies in software development and design through open-source courseware.


In August of 2013, Abel began freelance full-stack development for local businesses in Atlanta, Georgia.


In 2016, Abel along with a team of developers won 1st place at IdeaHack by Amazon and Georgia Pacific.


Through this opportunity, his team was invited to intern and consult for multiple organizations within Atlanta Tech Village, the city’s first Starthub Hub.


Abel spent this time working with various founders to lean into different perspectives in Business Strategy, Design, and Product Development.


In 2018, Abel began his formal studies in Computer Science at Georgia State University,


After a year, he transferred to the Georgia Institute of Technology for Industrial Design.


After disagreements with the Dean and Undergraduate Committee to bypass coursework with incoming design career opportunities, Abel decided to drop out of the program.


This led Abel to formally begin his career journey in design.

CAREER

Abel has worked as a product designer and multi-disciplinary creative strategist for a multitude of brands across commercial industries such as
Tech, Entertainment, and Fashion.


Abel shares his time in immersive work with personal creative projects, spanning apparel design, music, and other forms of multimodal artwork under his eponymous label.


In 2019, Abel met Virgil Abloh during his talk at the High Museum of Atlanta,
candidly sharing his desire to take up the mantle in leadership of the DONDA umbrella, connecting the trailblazers with the next generation of gifted minds.


Abloh was very akin to the sentiment, and connected Abel to Agnes Vissoud , Digital Innovation at Louis Vuitton, to consult on projects within Digital Media.


Abloh’s recommendation led Abel to further opportunity to work across multiple mediums in design at labels and brands across industries.

YZY

In 2020, Abel was scouted to work for Kanye West's Yeezy,


moving to Calabasas to work across the brand on designing and presenting concepts in Architecture, Apparel, Visual Identity, Digital Media, and more for review, discussion, and direction with Ye.


Abel continues to provide off and on cross-department consultation for building new design verticals.

MUSIC

Starting in 2021, Abel began to workalongside multiple labels within the music industry, including but not limited to:


300 Ent, Sony Music, Universal Music Group, Republic Records, Motown Records, Def Jam,
and more.


Abel has worked as a multi-disciplinary creative, strategist, identity consultant, and A&R Representative for artists on the respective labels.


He also worked to build identities for artist label and publishing groups for multiple Billboard Charting Artists.


Abel has also utilized his perspectives within Tech and Innovation to assist multiple muisc startups in product development and aquiring funding and resource from the likes of a16z, YC, and others.


SPATIAL LABS

In September of 2021, Abel was tapped by Iddris Sandu and Mohamed Sahid to serve in design at Spatial Labs, a Metaverse VC Studio building hardware and software ecosystems for Web3 and culture, in partnership with Jay-Z’s Marcy Venture Partners.


He served in the design direction for product suites across various areas including overall all Design Language, UX/HCI, Product, Graphics, Packaging, Partnerships, CMF, Footwear, 3D Modeling, Animation, Digital Media, Presentation, and more


Abel also worked closely to direct the company's first Keynote to an audience of thousands in person and online


APG - EPONYMOUS LABEL

Abel currently works as a multi-disciplinary design consultant & swiss-army knife for brands, as well as working to share his personal ethos across his self-titled label,

ABEL PAUL GEORGE,

which seeks to unite Heritage, Faith, and Future to tell stories within his journey.


The release of Abel’s first capsule , Extradition, gained him a cult-like underground following which sets the tone for further works to be released.
